DESCRIPTION:Plein air artists are invited to participate in this special? Paint the Town? fundraiser for the Gibby Center for the Arts. This three- day event will offer opportunities to converse with other artists\, enjoy the small town atmosphere\, secure additional painting opportunities\, and support your local non-profit art organiza- tion. Middletown offers many exciting subjects from grand Victorian homes and historic churches to beautiful gardens\, and scenic farms. The Center will host a complimentary Asian Fusion dinner catered by local artist Anna Barbara Sasang on Saturday for all participants. Your painting will be part of a live auction fundraiser in support of the Gibby Center\, the fine art arm of The Everett\, Inc.\, a 501(c) (3) corporation. The Center provides a wide range of art exhib- its\, workshops\, classes in fine arts and theater\, an artists'? guild and Guild Shoppe\, and Summer Art Camps. Your support will help provide funding for improvements to the Center and for programs.  To view the 3 day agenda and register go on-line at TheGibby.com (as of Feb. 25th). First place: $200\, Second place: $100\, Third place: $50 Judges: Mary Putman\, David Leathrum\, Jackie Levy Event takes place April 9th\, 10th and finishes with an Exhibition and Auction at 6 pm on April 11th.
