In 2014 the number of cases dropped to 350 worldwide. Currently\, through the efforts of Rotary and its partners\, polio is endemic in only 3 countries: Pakistan\, Afghanistan and Nigeria\, which has NOT had a case of polio in more than 6 months.\n\n \n\nRotary District 7630 (Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland) has a long history of supporting Rotary's Polio Plus Program\, and this year's District Governor Rob Hemmen is fully committed to continue the fight.
