The Megan Aitken Team, a division of Keller Williams Realty, will be hosting their first ever 5K to help assist Our Daily Bread in their mission to feed low-income families and individuals a nutritious meal in a safe environment in the Middletown, Odessa and Townsend community.
The 5K run/walk will be held Saturday, July 23rd. It is a fast, flat course through a residential neighborhood in Middletown. Same day registration begins at 7:30AM, the race will start at 8:30AM. The pre- and post-race party will be hosted at Volunteer Brewing on Main Street.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Our Daily Bread. Funds raised will help purchase an outdoor community refrigerator to aide those in need over the weekends. It will also contribute to their efforts of feeding more than 100 neighbors every day.
