The Bench by the Road - Commemorating Underground Railroad stories of Middletown, DE

A new tribute to honor an unsung site with a significant role in the Underground Railroad that helped slaves to freedom.  The new tribute - with a state historical marker and two symbolic benches - will be dedicated in a public ceremony at noon Friday at Middletown High School.
