Monster Mile Walk for a Cause 2025

Walk in honor or memory of someone in your life who has been impacted by breast cancer. Participants are invited to be creative with team names and attire—wear PINK! This year's event will be held at Homestead Gardens in Smyrna, DE, and will feature family-friendly activities, music, games, food, and more! "On the lush grounds of Homestead Gardens in Smyrna, DE, voted Delaware's Best Garden Center, you'll weave through thousands of seasonal plants and activities guaranteed to bring out the green monster in you," said Hayley Ross, Marketing Manager at Homestead Gardens. All proceeds from the 2025 Monster Mile for a Cause benefit DBCC’s programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: -Highest Individual Fundraiser -Highest Team Fundraiser -Best Team Costume -Best Dog Costume -Best Individual Costume
