The Town of Middletown, in partnership with the Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation (DEMEC), offers Efficiency Smart to its electric customers to help them save energy and money. Efficiency Smart offers free technical advice and financial incentives to encourage the installation of energy-efficient technologies. Efficiency Smart works with businesses to identify, assess, and validate energy efficiency projects that save energy and reduce operating costs.
